For some of you after the ceremony at the church please continue onto Rowton Castle immediatly where more photos will be taken and a meal will be served. For people attending the meal, you are the ones who have received a save the date card and details of the meal are on the invitation, as we would like you to spend the whole day with us, we apologise to any of you who are not attending the meal, we were restricted number wise.
People attending the church and evening reception Rowton will not allow people on the premisis who arent attending the meal. There are a few places for you to eat out eg pubs and restaurants and a few people have said they might spend the few hours in between the wedding and reception in shrewsbury.
Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th Century grade 2 listed building. The castle is 17 acres of tranquil ground. On Tom and Emma's wedding the day the castle will be used only by the wedding guests! You will be able to relax in the cocktail lounge and be free to use all areas of the castle including the oak pannelled restaurant, gardens and lakes.
No confetti is allowed please feel free to bring bubbles.
On the evening (PARTY TIME) the DJ Will Tudor formaly known as an ex DJ for Beacon Radio will be the entertainment. A hog roast will be served to all guests. The reception starts at 7.30 and end ends a 12.00, after this time only guests stopping in the castle will be allowed to stay in the castle and eat breakfast in the morning. Again we apologise to those of you who are not stopping in the castle, again we were limited by numbers.
Please take note, if the owners do not find your behaviour acceptable eg too drunk, or arguing with other guests they will ask you to leave. Smoking within the castle is also not allowed and will be fined other wise. There are designated areas for you to smoke.
